abstract: In order to content the need of monitoring, a
type of video camera system based on FPGA is designed. The video camera
system uses CMOS image sensor which is controlled by the I2C controller
in FPGA to obtain the image data. And then the system caches the image
data into DDR2 SDRAM. The image is showed on LCD screen 53 frames per
second finally. The result shows that the video camera system based on
FPGA is flexible, transferable and high-speed.
