abstract: High Dynamic Range (HDR) imaging is a
technique that utilizes various exposure levels to produce high-quality
images through a series of algorithms. Here, we present a microaperture
modulated ultrathin array camera that enables single-shot HDR imaging
through microfabrication. The camera consists of microaperture arrays,
microlens arrays, and CMOS ISA (CMOS image sensor array) with an 800 μm
total track length (TTL). The camera features a microaperture size
within 4-stops that is suitable for HDR imaging result according to each
stop. This miniatured camera offers a novel perspective on imaging with
higher contrast ratio.
