abstract: In order to realize automatic zooming of
large area array cameras, a large area array CMOS image sensor CMV20000
produced by CMOSIS Corporation is used as the research object. The
camera system is based on FPGA and DSP. Integrate electric sliding table
in the system and place the image sensor on the electric slide, moving
it to achieve zoom. The FPGA and DSP are the main control units of the
camera. And the image acquisition is realized according to the working
mode and driving timing of the CMOS image sensor. The experimental
results show that the design of the large-area array CMOS camera with
automatic zooming scheme is feasible. The system runs stably and the
high-quality image is obtained. The design solves the shortcomings of
the existing large-area array CMOS industrial camera that cannot
automatically zoom.
