abstract: An analog integrated cellular image
sensor-processor (CISP) is described. The architecture uses CMOS light
sensors and exploits circuit dynamics in computing image functions.
Analog CISP is loosely based on the cellular neural network paradigm,
but the related dynamic equations have been modified to make physical
implementation more practical and robust.
