abstract: Most digital imaging systems designers
usually use a single CCD or CMOS image sensor with a color filter array
(CFA) to acquire color image. In this paper, we are focusing on the
development of a innovative interpolation method and its effective VLSI
implementation of a low memory and low complexity architecture for Bayer
CFA pattern. These features give it the potential to be used in consumer
electronics and portable multimedia systems.
