abstract: This contribution presents an integrated
linear image sensor array with programmable on-chip sensor processing,
which has been fabricated in standard CMOS technology. The sensor is
based on active pixel sensing principle which utilizes high light
sensitivity of a standard PMOS transistor located in a floating n-well.
The on-chip signal processing circuitry can be programmed to realize a
wide variety of signal processing functions.
